Ian Franklin – Owner/Manager

After training and qualifying as a mechanic – Ian honed his skills at a large Vauxhall dealership in Watford. Lex Vauxhall quickly realised that Ian`s customer service skills, coupled with his technical training would be a huge asset front of house and he was swiftly promoted to Service Manager, then fast tracked through to Fleet Sales Manager, becoming invaluable as their most successful salesperson.

But like the rest of his family, Ian wanted to be his own boss and in 1995 he took his first step towards his goal, joining his father-in-law at Cameo Cars to become a crucial part of the operational management and logistics. Following his father-in-laws retirement in 2003 Ian stepped in to take over the business, which he has continued to build into a highly reputable and sought after Private Hire company offering a first class service to a wide range of corporate, celebrity and private customers.
